Message from the President

Welcome.  I would like, along with the rest of the U.N.A.Y.O. family, to take this opportunity to invite you into our world so that you can see what sets us apart from the rest.  From its inception, U.N.A.Y.O. has offered programs, which instill in our youth life long-learning skills.  These learning skills prepare today’s youth to maneuver with conviction through the often-turbulent situations which society may throw at them. 

U.N.A.Y.O. has a long track record of proven successful programs.  In everything we do, our goal is to stimulate personal growth, improve self-esteem and reliance, clarify values, develop skills, expand the appreciation of everyone’s diversity and culture, increase the capacity to lead, contribute to others while encouraging learning, fun and laughter.  

We have a professional staff, which is inclusive of Certified Teachers, a Certified Emergency Medical Technician, Recreation Department Coaches, a Certified Public Accountant, Notary Public, Law Enforcement Personnel and a Certified Social Worker. 

Our volunteer staff is comprised of goal orientated, dependable,  community minded citizens.  A volunteer is a very special person who gives freely of their time and talents for the benefit of others without personal remuneration. 

Our staff and volunteers form an alliance.  This alliance forms the cornerstone of the foundation for the outline and implementation of the programs we provide.  It is this teamwork which allows us to expand and offer additional programs. 

In this day and time, it is important for us to let you know that here at U.N.A.Y.O. your child’s safety is our first concern.  All programs are adequately staffed.  We have a low pupil to adult ratio.  We are certified in the operation of an A.E.D. (Automatic External Defibrillator) which is in our facility at all times is taken on trips.  Several of the staff and volunteers are CPR and First Aid trained. 

            I truly believe that today’s youth are Tomorrow’s Leaders.  And Tomorrow’s Leaders preserve and teach the pride of the past.  Here at U.N.A.Y.O. we stand and live by our motto, “To Build a Foundation, Support A Child.  Please do not take my word alone.  Tour our website and step into our world.  Feel free to sign our Guest Book.
